To be eligible for selection, applicants are required to have:

The Bachelor of Engineering requires completion of courses totalling 144 units. This comprises a near common two year foundation program of mathematics, science computing and electrical and electronic engineering principles. Each specialisation commences in the third year of study, where students concentrate on their chosen application area, as well as a set of common courses in mathematics, systems engineering, computer communications, real-time systems and control. Further specialist courses are offered in the final year. The degree inculcates professional engineering skills in a major final year group project, spanning both First and Second Half of the final year.
