Aim

To promote competence of health and safety practitioners in the practical management of health and safety issues by learning to evaluate problems and apply appropriate scientific solutions.

Content & Structure

This program is taught cooperatively by the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide. The program structure comprises a total of 54 units, made up of 5 compulsory courses (22.5 units), 13.5 units of elective courses, and a research thesis (18 units). The program is offered internally and online; and is undertaken in 1.5 years of full-time or equivalent part-time study.
