Aim

To provide Registered Nurses with a post-graduate qualification in Nursing and prepare them to work in a diversity of fields by extending their knowledge and professional expertise.

Content & Structure

The program requires completion of 18 units of prescribed study and may be taken either on a full-time or part-time basis.   The courses build advanced knowledge and understanding of social, political and economic factors impacting on the provision of nursing and health services and equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop leadership and/or management roles in nursing and health services. The courses also develop skills in policy analysis, change management and resource management with a strong focus on the nursing role in health care governance.
