Course aim

To develop student understanding of effective management, leadership, and delivery of services in a range of pharmacy contexts preparing them for leadership roles in a variety of areas of pharmacy practice and health care systems.

Course content

Management and leadership skills; Marketing strategies; financial and risk management, contracts of employment; inventory management and logistics; change management; organizational dynamics, quality assurance in health systems; Industrial relations and regulatory matters pertaining to pharmacy and health system management
