Course aim

Students develop a theoretical and practical understanding of contemporary and professional pharmacy services
delivered in a pharmacy.

Course content

Current issues relevant to accredited professional services delivered by pharmacists are explored with respect to
relevant legislation, practice guidelines and the associated application in practice.
Community pharmacy agreement and the relevant professional practice documents will also be explored.
Professional services in line with current legislation, such as vaccinations, prescribing and medication or disease
management will be covered.
