Course aim

To provide a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing and support, and how these can be used by an organisation to support their IT infrastructure.

Course content

Topics covered in this course include: overview of cloud concepts, cloud models IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; introduction to AWS, AWS Global Infrastructure; Cloud Security: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Policy; Networking: Virtual private clouds (VPC) vs public clouds; architectural principles of cloud computing; Core Cloud Services: EC2, Lambda, S3; and other cloud service offerings from Azure and Google Cloud.
