Through an advanced understanding of social, cultural and international perspectives of disability, formulate evidence based assessment and management plans for clients requiring multimodal communication
This course focuses on developing students’ understanding of social, cultural and international perspectives of disability. Students will apply this to working with individuals with disability, for example; Autism spectrum Disorders and Cerebral Palsy. Throughout the course, students will integrate the use of multimodal communication theories and technologies.
