Introduce the principles of case management, including funding sources, service delivery models, and evidence based practice.
This course explores establishment and management of human, financial, and physical resources relevant to private practice and emerging areas of practice. Responsibilities for staff and student supervision, mentoring, and professional development, legislative compliance, and impacts of health economics will be explored within and ethical framework. Clinical reasoning and decision making will be applied to diverse contexts using case scenarios.
