To develop novice to intermediate level competency as assessed by the COMPASS (2013) tool.
Students will undertake speech pathology clinical practice to develop competency aligned to the Competency Assessment in Speech Pathology (COMPASS). This course will facilitate the development of knowledge, skills and attributes, in the management of paediatric or adult clients in community, health and/or education settings working towards readiness to enter the profession. Students will be expected to demonstrate between novice to intermediate level competency by the end of this placement.
