Develop skills in the assessment of people with developmental and acquired communication disorders.
This course develops students’ competence in the observation and assessment of people with developmental and acquired communication disorders using knowledge from a range of theoretical models. Students are introduced to techniques for describing and analysing parameters of communication, including the use of standardised and non-standardised assessment.
