To provide students with the opportunity to conduct significant research and development activities including designing and producing mature outcomes.
Conduct a Systems Engineering project either in a research context or developmental context under the guidance of industry and/or academic supervision.
The outcome must be related to any of the systems engineering domains including system design, integration, test, and need analysis etc, and can be in either or all of the below forms/formats of systems engineering document(s), a report, a publication (journal or conference), an MBSE model.
The size of the deliverable for the report format is no less than 8000 words. Other deliverable formats should have similar and comparable size to 8000 words document.
The students are required to consult with one of the course coordinators to discuss a topic prior to enrolling in the course.
