To integrate and apply knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics and professional practice acquired throughout the program in a specific professional practice setting to complement the professional experience from the community and hospital pharmacy practice placements in the course Professional Placement (PHAR 4017).
Students undertake a placement of 3-weeks duration in a rural or practice setting that can include, but is not limited to, community or hospital pharmacy (rural or metropolitan depending upon allocated site for Professional Placement PHAR 4017) and specialist settings (such as manufacturing, clinical trials, medicines information services, regulatory affairs and health system governance).
