Course aim

To enable students to develop capacities to work as members of the teaching team. To assist students in developing knowledge and skills in engaging children in democratic inquiry- based pedagogies and pedagogical documentation.

Course content

Students will focus on the role of the teacher in a preschool context. Students will apply an advanced body of knowledge of contemporary theories and practice as they engage with curriculum documents, children, families and educators to implement democratic inquiry-based pedagogies in a preschool setting.
