To provide students with the knowledge and skills that can be applied in a sport organisation. Key elements of the commercial operations area will be covered, including understanding the strategies corporate organisations are undertaking when partnering a sport organisation and the planning process a sport organisation undertakes in maximising its revenue generating capacity. Inherent in examining these elements is teaching students strategic commercial operations decisions of both sport and corporate organisations. Students will gain an understanding of the methods used to identify and attract sources of revenue including the formulation of sponsorship proposals and the strategies used in the sales management process.
