Course aim

This course aims to

  • Extend skills in research methodology and ability to find solutions to current engineering problems through
    the application of acquired skills in a project setting
  • Develop professional practice through awareness of Australian work place culture and understanding of
    workplace relations, ethical and confidentiality principles

Course content

Research tools and methodology, operations management research, business report preparation, detailed
understanding of case analysis procedures and development, critical evaluation of research literature in the
designing, implementing and evaluating a feasible research project, Australian work place culture, ethics and the
social implications of research.
