Course aim

To effectively manage data centre infrastructure and operations to meet business requirements.

 

Course content

Data centre standards and best practices.
Data centre design, location and construction including flooring, ceiling, rack selection and cabling with consideration of availability and redundancy.

Facility requirements including light, power and cooling infrastructures, water supply, and fire suppression addressing Green IT within regulatory requirements.

Data centre networking.

Data centre monitoring, auditing and reporting.

Capacity planning and scalability.

Disaster recovery planning.

Documentation and labelling.
