Review of Data-link, Network and Transport Layer Terminology; Hierarchical and Logical Network Design; VLSM IP addressing and Naming; Routing Protocols including RIP, OSPF, and EIGRP; Switching, VLANs, Trunking and Spanning Tree Protocol; Security Strategies including access control lists (ACL), network address translation (NAT), DHCP configuration, and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
