Course aim

Achieve the issue of a recreational navigation endorsement.

Course content

The course consists of a number of dual and solo flights incorporating map reading, dead reckoning, operations into and out of controlled and uncontrolled aerodromes.

Students shall achieve a 150 NM solo flight encompassing a landing at two aerodromes en-route.

Students are required to hold : a Recreational Pilot Licence; and a minimum of a Class II medical with at least 6 months validity. Students to remain compliant with the Academy's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP).
