To enable students to develop capacities to work as a member of the teaching team in a preschool setting, to plan and engage children in an emergent play based curriculum and to document learning.
Students will focus on the role of the teacher in a preschool context. Students will apply an advanced body of knowledge of child development as they engage with curriculum documents, employ an observation, planning and assessment cycle to plan and implement an emergent play based curriculum in a preschool setting. .
