Course aim

To enable students to apply and/or generate psychological knowledge and skills in a workplace context.

Course content

Students will be prepared for professional practice by developing an understanding of workplace contexts,
values, ethics, professional relationships, accountability, competence, OHSW practices, workplace culture,
structure, roles and functions.

The listed prerequisites plus two level 2 psychology courses NOTE: Students are required to undertake Criminal History Checks through the Department of Human Services (DHS) and to have completed a one-day Child Safe Environments course. Some placements may also require students to hold a current driver's licence, National Police Check, Responding to Abuse and Neglect training, or recognised First Aid Certificate.
