Course aim

To further develop students' experience with the materials and construction technologies required for the prefabrication of buildings and introduce the use of alternative and innovative materials and technologies appropriate to environmentally sensitive sites.

Course content

Students will further develop knowledge in prefabrication processes, workshop facilities and operations, with an
emphasis on materials including timber and timber composite products, metals, glass, fabrics and coatings. Students will further develop skills in the coordination of workshop activities, including the fabrication and assembly of frames, cladding, glazing, linings and fittings.
