To develop specialised evidence based clinical knowledge of pathology and mastery of skills, assessment, analysis of findings, planning, intervention and evaluation required for musculoskeletal community client centred physiotherapy practice
Students will learn how to apply clinical knowledge and skills required for musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice across the lifespan. Students will learn the assessment and management of a variety of peripheral and vertebral musculoskeletal conditions; musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice: peripheral and vertebral musculoskeletal management strategies and techniques relevant for individuals across the lifespan. Student will implement skills in clinical reasoning, client education, culturally responsive care, medico-legal issues and record keeping.
