Course aim

To develop an appreciation of the professional, legal, and ethical obligations of registered Physiotherapists in Australia, and the skills required for communication and culturally safe and responsive practice.

Course content

Principles and practice of cultural safety and responsiveness for culturally competent practice.
Identify Situation, Background, Assessment & Recommendations framework of communication (ISBAR)
Advanced communication skills and professional behaviour
Thresholds of Practice and professional and ethical standards and codes for Registered Physiotherapists in Australia.
