Course aim

To provide students with an understanding of the current theory, processes and practices of recruitment and selection in organisations, equipping them with a working knowledge of the recruitment and selection literature and providing opportunities to develop and practice relevant recruitment and selection skills.

Course content

Social, legal, and administrative issues associated with the recruitment, selection and induction of individuals by organisations; workforce planning, job analysis, channels and methods of recruitment, resume analysis, shortlisting, selection processes and onboarding practices; theory, research, and organisational practices.
