To provide training in architecting an Industrial Internet of Things infrastructure to support industrial applications.
Network architectures for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) comprising wired and wireless networks for different industrial application scenarios.
Network protocol stacks for IIoT, with focus on
Device (range-based and range-free) localization/positioning techniques and location-based services.
Hardware technologies (including Trusted Computing) and software solutions (including symmetric-key and asymmetric-key cryptosystems) for securing devices and networks.
Connecting an IIoT data pipeline from edge devices to a cloud-based data analytics platform in a hands-on project with an Industry 4.0 theme.
