To understand programming and planning in English in the middle years and the place of English in an integrated middle schooling curriculum.
Students will further explore the Australian curriculum framework for English and its use in programming and planning for the middle years. Students will reflect criticality on developed programs and evaluate how it can support diverse groups of learners, including learners from non-English speaking backgrounds, and learners with English literacy difficulties. The students will continue to read, view and review texts and increase the range of classroom activities and teaching strategies.
