Course aim

To develop the capacity to analyse complex practice situations and establish evidence-based intervention strategies in social work.

Course content

Concept of complexity; defining complexity in social work; multi-faceted assessment; evidence-based practice theories; intervention planning and implementation; case management; managing challenging behaviours; ethical and practice dilemmas.
