Course aim

To develop students' conceptual parameters and analytical tools that will enable them to critically appraise the main dynamics that influence and/or affect the interplay of economics and politics in global capitalism, contemporary world economy, and international relations.

Course content

Students will become acquainted with the global scope and the relevance of the international political economy as a discipline and learn the skills to develop proper conceptual parameters and analytical tools for critically analysing the structural ensemble of the contemporary international political economy, and the modus operandi of the relevant actors in the realm of geopolitics and geo-economics.
