This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the sustainable use of limited water resources to increase water use efficiency and decrease the environmental impacts of irrigation projects in a smart way.
The course consists of three modules including irrigation science and technology; water reuse for irrigation and environmental challenges; integrated water management for agricultural development. The lectures and tutorials are designed to examine the sustainable use of limited water resources for most efficient crop production with less environmental inverse impacts including salinity and soil degradation.
