Enterprise Data Management

Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop critical appreciation of issues related to Enterprise data management – the principles and challenges in managing large amounts of mission-critical data in complex information systems.

Course content

Definition of enterprise data management, business drivers for EDM, data management strategies, legacy systems, data structures analysis, systems integration, interoperability, data warehouses, data and process mapping, data quality.
