The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of the chemical and bio-chemical processes that are involved in water treatment for drinking purposes and treatment of industrial and domestic wastewaters for water reuse and discharge to the environment. This course will provide knowledge of the key chemical processes relevant to undergraduate water engineering courses.
