The course will serve as a foundation for event studies. This course aims to provide an understanding of the event industry, and to identify the theoretical underpinnings of event management.
This course is an introduction to the event industry. It specifically explores the key stakeholders, event experience and visitor behaviour, impacts of events, and event strategic plan including event design, financial and human resources management, event operations, legal and risk management and evaluation.
