Management and leadership skills, interpersonal skills, motivation of staff, working in teams; Marketing and communication strategies for small business and health services; strategic business decision making, significance of location; customer behaviour and relationship management; Comparative funding models for hospital and community pharmacy services; Financial systems for small business and health services management, financial planning, accounting responsibilities, supplier relationships; Human resource management, contracts of employment, accountability, responsibilities and rights in the workplace; Workplace health and safety procedures; stress management.
