Course aim

To apply the specialised knowledge of a pharmacist in dosage form design, pharmacokinetics and pharmacology in the provision of pharmacy services.

Course content

Development of knowledge and skills that relate to the Pharmacy practice context: development of cultural, social, behavioural and communication issues in pharmacy practice; development of clinical reasoning skills; Pharmacist only medicines; introduction to and development of medication history taking skills; dosage forms and administration, including administration devices; introduction to pathology testing including hand held devices.
