To advance students’ competence in applying design processes, strategies, and practices through the detailed examination of construction and documentation methods to industry convention while maintaining design integrity.
Students will further develop knowledge of the relationship between design, materials, and construction through the design and detailing of architectural project(s) of increasing complexity. Students will develop skills in the translation of design concepts to buildable outcomes through the application and communication of design development and documentation processes to industry convention used in architectural practice.
