Course aim

To further develop the student’s knowledge and understanding of the physics and principles of operation of equipment used in Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy.

Course content

Digital radiography and digital image processing: Image quality and quality assurance; Fluoroscopy; Interventional and special imaging procedures; Computed tomography; Ultrasound imaging; Nuclear medicine; Radiation therapy; Radiobiology; Radiation protection [Diagnostics and interventional].
