The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the exploration of childbirth as a normal phenomenon, and facilitate primary health care for women during labour and childbirth in a multicultural society.
Australian College of Midwives (ACM) competencies; reproductive anatomy and physiology; physiology of labour and childbirth; intra partum care and assessment, early post partum care; law and ethics; multiculturalism; working in teams; communication and documentation skills; evidenced based care.
