The project gives students an opportunity to learn project management skills and develop a solution to a business/management issue or problem. The students will apply the knowledge and skills gained in their studies to find workable solutions to management problems.
This course provides students with experience in planning, organising, leading and controlling a project and working as part of a team. This work is performed for an Industry Partner or other organisation in the form of a consultancy.
Students will examine a problem/issue, explore all the reasonable alternatives and arrive at an outcome that addresses the problem or issue that has been identified. Students are mentored within the Industry Partner organisation, and are required to use analytical tools and problem solving techniques during the course to solve realistic problems for the Industry Partner organisations.
