Course aim

To provide students with knowledge of project planning and control techniques required to introduce and implement advanced manufacturing engineering into the manufacturing organisation.

Course content

Project screening and evaluation using inputs from manufacturing strategy and cost evaluations. Organisational structure and work breakdown structure, scheduling and planning, budget and resource management, project control and monitoring, project termination. Case studies.
