Entry requirements
Applicants would normally have completed a relevant Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, or relevant Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma in engineering, science, management, or information technology to qualify for admission.
Applicants who have tertiary qualifications lower than a Bachelor degree (e.g. Diploma) plus a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience may apply for the program and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Aim
The program aims to provide graduates with the skills for managing today’s advanced technology through the study of technology innovation and management, economic justification, energy management and sustainability, the planning and control of the implementation process and the cultural changes required at the workplace. It will equip engineers and managers with the combined technological knowledge and management skills necessary for the development and organisation of manufacturing and related businesses.
Content & Structure
The Master of Engineering (Engineering and Technology Management) program requires the completion of courses comprising 54 units. The units of study consist of 10 x 4.5 unit courses and MFET 5045 Cases in Engineering Applications (9 units).
