The aim of this course is to develop the skills and knowledge required to enable people to increase control over, and to improve their health in an experiential learning model.
Principles and practice of health promotion, needs assessment, developing a programme proposal, planning implementation and evaluation, social marketing, health behaviour, health education, organisational and communication theory, report writing and exposure to broader socio-economic issues in health promotion.
