Students develop an in-depth theoretical understanding of network security prinicples and the tools and configurations available with an emphasis on practical application.
This course will cover a variety of topics, with a particular emphasis on network security with Fortinet equipment. The content of this course will include implementation of SD-WAN, Security Fabric, Authentication, Authorisation, and Accounting (AAA), firewall policies, Network Address Translation (NAT), logging and monitoring, Web Filtering, Application Control, Antivirus, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
