To provide teachers with the opportunity to study or reflect on theoretical and practical perspectives on contemporary policy, curriculum and teaching issues in a field other than that studied in Policy, Curriculum and Teaching Studies 1 and to demonstrate a informed analysis and response to those issues.
Exploration of and response to literature related to a key pedagogical issue in the field; the manner in which this issue is played out in local and international settings; social and cultural issues which impact upon teaching; strategies for teaching and assessing literacy; program evaluation.
