Course aim

The aim of this course is to advance students’ understanding of knowledge construction and reasoning for decision-making and leadership in practice and work environments and to develop information searching, critical thinking, reflection and other relevant skills which will provide a foundation for further studies in the program.

Course content

Health and health management information search and appraisal strategies; Socratic questioning; knowledge construction; reflective thinking; clinical reasoning; creative/lateral thinking; models of health and disability; application; academic and professional communication; ethics; collaborative models.
