To advance students’ proficiency in spoken and written French and their intercultural knowledge of French culture and society.
Students will develop advanced vocabulary, structures and text types drawn from a range of French media developing high-level communication skills in French. Students will also develop advanced cultural knowledge relevant to the range of text types and develop interaction with native French speakers face to face and on chatline. Students will enhance their cultural knowledge through analysis of intercultural interactions and ethnographic interviews.
