Course aim

To promote learner and teacher wellbeing and identity formation through the development of sustainable and enabling teaching practice which informs policy and procedure, ethical considerations, curriculum and pedagogy, learning environment and community partnership initiatives.

Course content

Exploration of the constructions of wellbeing and identity promote an understanding of the centrality of wellbeing to learning; potential barriers; designing protective and enabling strategies encompassing the learning environment, policies and procedures, curriculum and pedagogy and community partnerships, to inform a proactive approach to supporting learner and teacher wellbeing and identity development.
