Course aim

To provide student teachers with the opportunity to expand and apply their professional knowledge and skills to one of a wide range of educational settings.

Course content

Beliefs informing practice; using curriculum frameworks for planning, programming, implementing, assessing, recording, reporting and evaluating learning programs for extended periods; teaching for diversity; managing the learning environment including issues of collaboration, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation; teachers as professionals.
Note: Students will need to work in either (3-5) or (6-7) school contexts for PAR 3 (P/M). This complements their PAR 2 professional experience which was the opposite.
