Course aim

This course aims to provide an introduction to the theory and practice of adult, vocational and workplace learning.

Course content

Purposes of adult, vocational and workplace learning; exploration of the concepts of theory, practice and experience and their relevance to the field of adult, vocational and workplace learning; frameworks for understanding theory and practices; disciplinary bases; discourses of adult, vocational and workplace learning; exploration of key concepts central to understanding the field; key contributors to the literature.
