To enable students to develop knowledge, skills and attributes in the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning experiences for adult learners in a variety of contexts.
Strategies for working effectively in environments with adult learners; the characteristics of an effective educator; inclusive and safe learning environment; planning and preparing learning experiences from curricula/training packages/other frameworks for identifying learner needs; the interrelationship between teaching and learning; designing learning programs; teaching strategies (individual, group, workplace based, online); skills for reflection on working as an educator in a setting with adult learners in order to complete required assessment tasks.
