Course aim

This course covers two important organisational human resource management activities: performance management and compensation management. Students will learn how organisations develop effective performance management and compensation management systems to achieve organisational goals.

Course content

This course overviews the techniques organisations use when managing employee performance and compensation. It particularly emphasises on acquisition knowledge and skills necessary for designing performance and compensation management systems. It also addresses recent theory and research relevant to performance and compensation management decisions.
